About Us
SWAG Works offers visual art classes to residence throughout the DC area. We offer a multifaceted and thriving community a complete arts destination. Our visual art workshops inspire youths, teens, and adults to tap into their creative abilities. Selected professional local artists from various backgrounds share their creative passions and teaching to community residence throughout the Metropolitan area. We hold our workshops at art centers, senior centers, public schools, colleges, and other professional locations throughout the DMV.
Talented artists will spend time immersed in hands on art making in an atmosphere where creativity, studio art practices, and fun combine to create an enriching experience. SWAG Works efforts are to teach all forms of drawing and painting to include still life, figure drawing, landscape, portraits, abstracts. Currently we offer sketching and shading techniques, acrylic painting, water color, mixed media, cartooning, and manga art. We also provide craft classes and clay art.
SWAG Works Sip & Paint workshops and events are unique and awesome for groups. Please take a look at our listing of courses and descriptions. To register for a SWAG Works workshop or event, visit to www.swagworksdc.org. Please aim to register for workshops at least 2 days before start date to reserve. Supplies will be provided for drawing and painting which are included in rate.
