SWAG Works DC has been a valuable source to the classroom providing visual arts programs in DC Schools. Getting students involved in collage, mural, sketching and paint projects has been a good experience for both instructor and student. Sharpening their creative skills, perspective skills, presentation skills and more. Building youths self esteem, how to support other students in the class room through helping one another and creating. Students are reminded that we all have different ways of expressing ourselves, our cultures and our stories through art.

SWAG Works brings a body of artist thru it's collective to the classroom. Art Instructors share their backgrounds and talents with students, inspiring them to never stop creating. And teaching them to see all the beauty around them.
